What to Expect

Movement and Dance

A structured warm-up focusing on ballet and contemporary basics, flexibility, across-the-floor technique, and performance expression.

Flag Fundamentals

Spintime across basic tosses, drop spins, singles to quads, and routine retention.

Weapon Line

Encouraged for those auditioning for weapon spots. Evaluations cover basic tosses, speed spins, and integrated movement phrases.

Staff Evaluation

Placements are determined by skill retention, performance quality, adaptability to feedback, and work ethic.

What to Bring

Attire and Footwear

Form-fitting black athletic wear (leggings, tanks, or athletic tops) that allows staff to clearly see body lines. Hair must be pulled back neatly off the face and neck. Jazz shoes, dance sneakers, or bare feet. No bulky running shoes on the tarp.

Equipment

Personal rifles and sabres if you have them (flag equipment is provided). Tape must be clean and floor-safe.

Essentials

Refillable water bottle, packed lunch/snacks, personal towel, and a printed copy of your signed registration packet.

Ready to Spin?

Pre-registration is required prior to attending Clinic Day to secure your audition number and receive prep materials. Please print and review the documents below. All will need to be turned in at auditions. Once you are ready, fill out the Audition Registration Form. If you are planning to submit a video audition, you may do so below as well.
