Harry’s marching experience includes the New York Skyliners (New York, NY) in 1994, 1995, 2001-2008, 2016, 2017, and 2022-2024, and Spectrum (Corning, NY) in 2001. Throughout that time, he has been a soprano (trumpet) soloist, assistant drum major, and captain of the honor guard.

Teaching and design experience includes the Owego Riverhawks (formerly the Indians) colorguard and parade band (Owego, NY) as drill writer, music arranger, and visual caption head from 2005 to 2015, visual caption head for the Vestal Marching Band (Vestal, NY) in 2011 and 2012, brass arranger for the New York Skyliners in 2007 and visual tech in 2023 and 2024. Harry has also consulted for various bands in NY and PA.

Staff and administration experience includes the New York Skyliners in various roles including quartermaster, equipment manager, webmaster, and assistant corps director. Harry was also the assistant guard director for the Owego-Apalachin Colorguard from 2005 to 2015 and the assistant marching band director for the Vestal Marching Band in 2011 and 2012. In 2009, Harry led a group of dedicated volunteers to form the Conquistadors Performing Arts Association (Owego, NY) as a parent organization to a new drum and bugle corps and winterguard project. Today the organization serves as a resource center for performers and staff.

Harry attended the Berklee College of Music majoring in Music Production and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences from Purdue University. He currently works as an educator for Laboratory Services for Centralus Health in Ithaca, NY.

2027 will mark Harry’s 33rd year in the performing arts.
